My Birthday is September Eleven and Other Short Stories by Nicole Weaver This collection of short stories touches on many different subjects from dealing with tragedy to bullying to giving to self-sacrifice to adoption. Each story has a child main character or characters that have to deal with real-life situations that readers may have or will experience personally or through a friend sometime in their own lives. For those who never have to experience some of the tougher situations like a natural disaster, it offers the reader a glimpse of this tragedy on a more human level rather than just a list of faceless statistics of fatalities and damages. Lessons learned from the stories are far-reaching. Such as that the way we begin our lives in not always how we are destined to lead them. According to the Sensodyne commercials, Sensodyne will help your teeth to become less sensitive. I got this toothpaste because my teeth are a bit sensitive and I would like to build up the enamel and help to whiten my teeth. It does feel like my enamel is being built up a bit, and my teeth are definitely becoming whiter, but if that's all I wanted I could have just bought regular ProNamel Whitening Toothpaste. This toothpaste doesn't help at all with sensitivity and actually, I believe that it's making it worse. My teeth will randomly start to hurt now, and I won't have a clue why or know how to make them stop hurting. Also, this toothpaste gives you really bad breath. I just wanted to put this out there for any of you who might be wanting to try it. Maybe the regular Sensodyne helps with sensitivity and its just that because this one is also ProNamel and Gentle Whitening it doesn't, but know that the ProNamel Gentle Whitening Sensodyne does not help with sens...

Charlotte's Web by E.B. White Charlotte's Web is about Wilbur the pig. He was the runt of the litter and was saved by a little girl named Fern who nurses him until he is strong. Then Wilbur is sent to live on Fern's uncle's farm. There, Wilbur is befriended by Charlotte, a wonderfully clever little spider. When Wilbur overhears that the farmer plans to kill him and serve him up for dinner, Charlotte attempts to rescue Wilbur by weaving messages for the farmer to see in her web. Wonderful and funny. This edition was read by the author and you can really feel the characters' personalities. The geese were hilarious. I remember seeing the movie when I was young but I don't remember ever reading the book. I enjoyed it and would listen to it again and when I have time, read the book. I recommend this book to children and adults alike. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
