Marc Jacobs is well known for his fragrances. Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh help me to understand why - they smell great! Personally, I prefer the Eau So Fresh over the original, but I have received many compliments while wearing both (only wearing one at a time, though!).  Usually I stick to tropical scents - Hawaiian this, Island that...Hollister and Soul Surfer. These smells, however, are not tropical, yet I still enjoy them. Whereas with my usual sprays, I could probably send someone into an overdose with the amount I use, with these Marc Jacobs fragrances, less is more. GIRLS STATE REVIEW BY TASHANICOLE A weeklong adventure packed with tons of information about our local and national government, Girls State was an experience I do not regret. I made tons of new friends and learned a lot more.  We all had the opportunity to run for official positions. I was the states' attorney for the mock trial held Friday morning, and I was elected the position of a city council member. I also ran for county Sheriff, but many people also ran, and I lost. But I helped our Alternate Senator win her position and helped my other friend campaign for Governor.   The week has left me extremely tired (which is why this is such a short post), but definitely not hungry; the food was great! I took away some key things from the experience, and many people found passions for the government and politics they did not know they previously had. 2013 Mount2000 theme Picture from the Mount2000 facebook page Last year was my first time going to Mount2000; this year I went again. Mount2000 is a weekend Catholic retreat for high schoolers. Well over 1,600 Catholics from throughout the nation gather at Mount St. Mary's University, in Emmitsburg, Maryland, to grow in their faith and their love of God. This year, out of those 1600+ people, over 1000 of them went to Confession. Reconciliation was not the only thing going on, though. Speakers such as Mark Hart and Jackie Francois, gave inspirational speeches and Father Mike Schmitz gave homilies that made everyone want to go to church everyday, just to hear! The Josh Blakesley Band made it fun with their music, and everyone had a good time. The dean of Mount St. Mary's even gave a speech and granted a minimum 6,000 dollar ($24,000 total for 4 years) scholarships to everyone attending Mount2000, if they choose to go to Mount St. Mary's University.             During winter break, my cousins and I took a trip into New York City, at the La MaMa Ellen Stewart Theatre, to watch the Yara Arts Group perform Midwinter Night, an Ukrainian concert.  Mostly preformed in Ukrainian, with some English translations throughout and a scene or two in Spanish, it really helped to show the diversities and similarities of different cultures that I am familiar with.              Being a Ukrainian group, going into the theatre I expected to not understand anything they were singing or saying and simply absorbing the traditions of the culture, such as I had done in St. Petersburg when we saw the Russian group give a concert.  It was nice that they translated some of their songs into English and sang part English, part Ukrainian throughout the songs.              The costumes also defi...

Pantene is showing their support for the Beautiful Lengths donations to help create real hair wigs for cancer patients with this strengthening shampoo, conditioner, and finishing creme. The shampoo surprised me! It didn't tangle my hair, like other Pantene shampoos have been known to do. It also didn't burn when it accidentally got in my eye; it was very gentle. However, the conditioner had such a strong, unpleasant smell, that I think I wouldn't buy this just because of that. Maybe I'd just get the shampoo and finishing creme and buy a different brand's conditioner. The conditioner smelt like straight nail polish or nail polish remover. It was awful. It reminded me of one of Bath & Body Works' scents, so you might like it, depending on your smell preferences. But the finishing creme was good. It went right in my hair, no problem. Then the extra little bit left on my hands acted as lotion and made my hands soft! I was pleased with the finishing creme.

A 20 hour plane ride (not including the first 3 hour plane ride + however long wait time to connect) would not  be manageable without a decent pair of headphones. Headphones are not just necessary to listen to music, but to watch movies, tv shows, and other videos. They are also necessary to drown out the world and to escape from everyone. Thank God for my Sony Noise Cancelling headphones! they truly are ah-may-zing! They are definitely high quality. Once you insert the included battery into the battery compartment and turn the headphones "on", they really do focus on the music and drown out all other sounds from the rest of the world. It's wonderful! Don't believe me? Turn the off and listen to music regularly, like you usually would. you'll hear the difference. and there is  a difference. Such a major one, in fact, that when I switched "on" to "off" to back "on" again, I went "Woah!". Honestly, I thought all the hype over...

My friend gave me this nail polish for Christmas and I love it! It stays on a long time and doesn't chip that much. The color, Oasis # 942, (the lovely shade of pink you see above) is definitely a wonderful, calming, yet energizing, color. It's sort of a Barbie pink. It's definitely a hot pink, but a cute hot pink. It's a color that I love. It's so me! But Sinful Colors Professional has tons and tons of colors to choose from, so everyone should be able to find a color that suits them best! You can experiment with colors and designs to come up with a cute nail! This nail polish is long-lasting, great looking, and definitely pleasing. I totally recommend Sinful Colors Professional Nail Enamel to everyone! :)  

My great-aunt got me this Hottie Handbook for Christmas this past year. It is a black spiral notebook with flames on it. Inside, each page is filled with a questionnaire and rating chart. It even has a place for a photo. You fill out the "hottie"'s Name, Age, Birthday, Address, Phone #, Cell Phone #, E-Mail, Where you met, Best features, First date, first kiss, most memorable moment, and what makes him a hottie. On the rating chart, you rate him from 1-4 (1 being mild, 2 medium, 3 hot, and 4 very hot) in the categories of Hair, Eyes, Lips, Body, Fashion Style, Athletic, Personality, Car, Popularity, Intelligence, Sense of Humor, and Kissability. Then you add your ratings to calculate the total score. "0-25 = Hottie? Not! 26-25 = Better than nothing. 26-44 = Warm enough to toast my buns. 45+ = He's so hot, I'm on fire!" According to the Sensodyne commercials, Sensodyne will help your teeth to become less sensitive. I got this toothpaste because my teeth are a bit sensitive and I would like to build up the enamel and help to whiten my teeth. It does feel like my enamel is being built up a bit, and my teeth are definitely becoming whiter, but if that's all I wanted I could have just bought regular ProNamel Whitening Toothpaste. This toothpaste doesn't help at all with sensitivity and actually, I believe that it's making it worse. My teeth will randomly start to hurt now, and I won't have a clue why or know how to make them stop hurting. Also, this toothpaste gives you really bad breath. I just wanted to put this out there for any of you who might be wanting to try it.
