He has also illustrated for Spider, Cricket, and Sesame Street magazines. Mr. Lipking lives ins southern California with his four children, his wife, Cathy, and a horse named Cinder.

My Thoughts:
The Race is a book about cars racing. It rhymes a lot. It is definately meant for young kids. Its a good book to help kids learn how to read and I think it will be one that can't be put down once the children know it.
